1. Who We Are
Bond and Learn AI ("we", "us", "our") is an AI-powered educational platform designed to support
students in their academic journey. We are committed to protecting the privacy and safety of all
users, with special care for minors.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to deliver a personalised educational experience:
- Account information: Name, email address, grade level, school, and learning
preferences provided during registration.
- Learning data: Subjects studied, quiz results, flashcard decks, podcast
history, presentation content, and AI coaching conversations — used exclusively to personalise
your experience.
- Anonymous usage data: Pages visited, features used, and session duration —
collected in aggregate, without personal identifiers, to improve the platform and conduct
educational research.
- Device data: Browser type, operating system, and general location
(country/region) — for security and compatibility purposes only.
3. Anonymous Educational Research
We participate in anonymous aggregated educational research to improve learning
outcomes across our platform. Under this programme:
- All research data is fully anonymised before use — no name, email, or
account ID is ever attached to research datasets.
- Research datasets contain only aggregated metrics (e.g., average quiz score per subject
category, average session length by age group).
- No individual student's data can be identified from any research output or report.
- Research insights may be shared with educational institutions, researchers, or published in
aggregated form. Individual records are never shared.
- You may opt out of the anonymous research programme at any time from
Settings → Privacy. Opting out does not affect your access to any feature.
4. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
Bond and Learn AI is designed for students, including those under 13.
- We do not sell, share, or monetise any data belonging to users under 13.
- We do not display targeted advertising to any user.
- Parental consent is required before a user under 13 is matched with another student via the
Peer Learning feature.
- Parents and guardians may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their child's data
by contacting our support team at bondandlearnai.com/support.
- We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and applicable Israeli
data protection law (Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981).
5. How We Use Facebook and WhatsApp Login
When you log in using Facebook or WhatsApp, we receive only the information you have authorised
via Meta's permissions dialog:
- Facebook Login: Public profile (name, profile picture) and email address.
- WhatsApp: Phone number, for account verification and optional learning
reminders. We do not read your WhatsApp messages.
We do not post to your Facebook timeline, access your friends list, or store your Facebook
password. You can revoke access at any time from your Facebook App Settings.
6. How We Use AI
- AI-generated content (summaries, flashcards, coaching responses, podcasts) is produced by
Google Gemini and Anthropic Claude APIs.
- Your learning interactions are sent to these providers solely to generate
your educational content. They are subject to their respective privacy policies.
- We do not use your personal data to train AI models.
- AI outputs are educational aids only and should be verified against authoritative sources.
7. Data Storage and Security
- All data is stored on Supabase infrastructure (EU region) with AES-256 encryption at rest
and TLS 1.3 in transit.
- Access to user data is restricted to authorised Bond and Learn AI staff.
- We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at
any time from Settings → Account.
8. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only:
- With service providers necessary to operate the platform (Supabase, Google, Anthropic, Meta)
under strict data processing agreements.
- In fully anonymous, aggregated form for educational research (see Section 3).
- When required by law or to protect the safety of our users.
9. Your Rights (GDPR)
EU/EEA users have the right to: access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port their personal data.
Contact our support team at bondandlearnai.com/support to
exercise these rights. We will respond within 30 days.
10. Changes to This Policy
We will notify you by email and in-app banner at least 30 days before any
material change to this policy takes effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes
acceptance of the updated policy.
